There are many things about PTI which I recommend. In the business course, the subjects were taught in a way that was easily understood and led to me developing an interest in areas which I hadn't previously considered. Some of the subjects I knew very little about but all the subjects started with the basics and I was able to build up my knowledge. Due to my previous work and life experience, I was able to relate it to the subjects such as management, marketing and economics and this assisted me to understand each subject more fully. This will occur for future students as well.

The tutors are friendly and are more than willing to assist when I didn't understand some area. Their friendly attitudes and knowledge of the subjects made going to class much more enjoyable. The small class numbers made learning easier. Communication between staff and students flowed really well and there was a positive atmosphere at PTI. Comprehending the work was easy and while I did make some mistakes along the way, I achieved a qualification which I can be proud of.

I have developed many friends among the staff and students in my time at PTI and will stay in touch with them after my course is completed. Due to PTI being multi-cultural, there has been greater access to different ideas and ways of looking at things and this has been of benefit to me. This has also led me to have a better understanding of those other cultures.

I am pleased about the time I spent at PTI and am happy at the new skills and confidence that I have gained by attending classes there. There are more options for me now to choose from and I can look to the future with more confidence. At the beginning, I was concerned about returning to retrain but now I believe the time I spent at PTI was worthwhile. I also believe that other people will get the same benefit from attending PTI as I did whether they have come straight from high school or have been in the workforce for a while.
